The cupcake followed me home. I was spending a little time at our local market and he got in my basket - really!

Actually, the photo I should have posted is the one of my son, Alex, when he saw this confection. He kept yelling, " A SNOWMAN, A SNOWMAN!!"

I bought this little guy at Atkins Farms Country Market. This is a perk of living in the country - country markets!

Atkins Farms is billed as "A New England Apple Orchard and Country Food Market nestled in an old country orchard against the scenic Holyoke Mountain Range." It's a wonderful place to stop by if you are ever near Amherst, Massachusetts.

While I didn't make this myself, I think it would be pretty easy to do - and you don't even have to bake. Just buy some cupcakes with white frosting, a bag of marshmallows, pretzel sticks, and some pre-made tubes of colored icing (they exist in the baking aisle of most supermarkets). Your kids will go nuts!

Obviously, this isn't a healthy snack, but it is one that will be enjoyed and remembered. Certainly it is more memorable than the ubiquitous Hostess Cupcakes.

If you do healthy most of the time, I think you are doing pretty great.

Alex only ate half the cupcake. He is 3 1/2 and he still has the ability to self-regulate his eating without thinking about it (lucky him!).

The book, "Hello, Cupcake!: Irresistibly Playful Creations Anyone Can Make" is REALLY fun. I wouldn't actually attempt any of the recipes in the book because I know mine would turn out badly. But, it is just a blast to look at!

I'm sure glad this adorable cupcake didn't follow me home! There wouldn't be half left, I can tell you that. Yum.

By the way, I am drinking a hot cup of Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride tea - it smells just like a sugar cookie and I can dream about the real thing!
