Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe
Serves 8
Ingredients
1 cup ketchup
1 cup barbecue sauce
¼ cup Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
3-4 pound Smithfield pork shoulder, boneless
¾ cup water
Instructions
Mix ketchup, barbecue sauce, mustard, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, soy sauce, and garlic in a large measuring cup. Place pork shoulder in a large Ziploc bag and pour sauce over it. Shake the bag until the pork is covered. Refrigerate overnight.
When ready to cook, add pork and marinade to a 6-quart slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours. When tender, take the pork out of the marinade and slice it. Put the pork back in the sauce.
You can leave the slow cooker on the warm setting and put out slider buns for people to grab their meal during the commercials. How easy is that? I pair this sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw.
