Are You a Flirt? Get Cookin' with This Giveaway

Cooking can be boring, arduous, and messy. How can you get through it and still have style?

flirty-aprons

The people at Flirty Aprons have devised a way to get through the worst chore. Just tie on one of these lovely concoctions and Betty Crocker will get out of your way.

The great thing about these aprons is that if you are entertaining, you can just toss this over your outfit and no one will notice you are still in your sweatpants! You will look like an amazing hostess as you wow the crowd with your ruffles.

There are two negatives about these aprons. First, they are flammable. Secondly, the pretty bow can get a little close to the stove.

The bow is tied in front with perhaps a bit too much fabric (which makes me think they weren't thinking about cooking in the kitchen but cooking somewhere else in the house...need I say more?).

But, if you are careful and don't set yourself on fire, you will be the life of the party.

Snack-Girl is giving away the apron called Blue Chocolate (photographed above) to a random entry as outlined below. Tell us how you get yourself motivate to chop, saute, or grill.

How do you motivate yourself to cook? Comment below to enter to win the apron.

I do all my preparations by noon--cutting, chopping, slicing, peeling, etc. so that I know come time to cook everything is ready. My absolute cutoff time is 3 pm. If things are not ready by 3, then it will be takeout. This helps to cut down on less than healthy meals. Most importantly this cuts down on the stressing out about what to cook for dinner. However, I work from home and I have the luxury to this. When working outside of the home I could never this.

That's a very cute apron! I motivate myself to cook by making foods that I enjoy. Last night I made mexican burgers with sweet potato fries. Everything came out so delicious that next time I'm craving a burger and fries, I will definitely be motivated to get my rear moving in the kitchen.

The apron is SO cute!! Such a fun giveaway! :-)

I motivate myself to cook by almost always fixing new recipes - I like to experiment! :-)

I motivate myself to cook by cooking for those I love! I find out what they like, search for recipes, and cook those meals for them. It makes me happy to see my friends and family eating and enjoying meals that I have made with them in mind. I love seeing their happy faces and full tummies, as they eat something I made just for them. =)

As a vegan, it's hugely important to me to be able to show to others that not only is the lifestyle about ethical consumerism but the food is great, too! Veganism really opened my eyes to the extraordinary wealth of possibilities in the kitchen - and I do my best to reach for them and use them to show others that an animal-free diet can not only be as good as, but better than, consuming animal flesh and produce. And all without preaching :P I let the food speak for itself.

I get motivated by reminding myself that what I am making at home is 100 times healthier than what I can get out at a restaurant, and that if I don't cook dinner tonight, I won't have any leftovers to eat for lunch tomorrow. This will only make me spend more money!

I am naturally motivated everyday! As soon as my eyes open, I am thinking about what I am going to cook. I go to the store on my lunch hour and see what looks good. I snatch it up and when I get off of work I hurry home, grab a vintage apron, turn up the music and cook!

I motivate myself to cook by knowing it will be the healthiest option and I know what ingredients are going in - also I love cooking for my guy! :)

I know that cooking at home is the best way for me to control the calories and the quality of the food that I eat. I really love to cook and find new recipes that are tasty as well as healthy. For example last night I made us healthy turkey Rubens and my fiancé loves them so much he requested that we have them once a week!

Guilt is my motivation to cook! As in my boyfriend generally cooks 9 out of 10 meals and then it occurs to me that I should maybe pitch in a bit :) He cooks and I do the dishes - which is really what I want the apron for. I can keep myself clean while cooking but invariably get water all over myself while doing the dishes!!

Finding new recipes that use fresh whole ingredients motivates me to cook. I love the feel, smell and thought of fresh bright produce, especially fresh herbs. I don't even look at cookbooks that focus on premade packaged products anymore. I know I'm giving my family the best food possible!

I find that the times I least want to cook are the times when my fridge and cupboards aren't stocked well and I start thinking, "what the heck am I gonna cook with this stuff?" So I've started planning meals each weekend before I do my grocery shopping. I feel I'm much more motivated to cook when I've planned and stocked my cupboards in advance.

My cooking motivation is my hungry youngins! :) I would LOVE an apron! They are SO cute!

That is a cute apron. I love to cook. Now that I'm not working I find it hard not to spend all my time baking unhealthy fatting foods. I really missed having the opportunity to cook when I was working. Now I can have dinner ready when my husband gets home.

I get my inspiration from many web sites with recipes. My motivation is my health. If I cook it at home, I know what's in it. It keeps me in control.

that is cute!! instead of going to resturants and getting food how they make it I use what I want or add or take out what I want also I know how much fat salt ect I'm adding :) I have the chopping gadgets too so it's not hard to stay motivated to cook but making it easier and trying new things is how I do stay motivated

I motivate myself to cook by making foods that I enjoy and love!

So cute! Such a good idea for a Giveaway! I motivate myself by cooking easy meals that my family likes and that are easy on our waistlines. I have found a number of tasty, low-fat, low-calorie ideas on Snack Girl's site! Keep the good information coming! :)

I motivate myself to cook by using new recipes, or trying new things that I've never done before. I love to cook and bake, and I'm always up for a challenge! If it sounds challenging, then I definitely want to try it!

I motivate myself, with a reminder that packaged and processed quick foods are lousy for the mind, body and soul. But I think this apron, could motivate me all on its own! OH LA LA
