Edy’s Slow Churned 100 Calorie Sundae
December 1, 2020
Edy’s Slow Churned Light Ice Cream when mixed with strawberries makes a delicious 100 calorie sundae.
The key to creating a sundae with just one hundred calories is to use 1 cup of sliced strawberries (46 calories), ¼ cup Edy’s Vanilla Slow Churned Light Ice Cream (50 Calories), and 1 teaspoon of chocolate syrup (17 calories).
Okay, that’s a little over 100 – but you can squeeze those extra 13 calories in or you can just forget the chocolate syrup.
You won’t even notice that you used such a wee bit of ice cream because the flavors are so intense. If you serve it in a martini glass, you will have created a very cute treat that will cause you to smile.
Edy’s Slow Churned will spend the summer online, at festivals, fairs, and family-favorite hangouts, giving away more than 25,000 scoops of ice cream and capturing the smiles that appear when people take their first bite realize the ice cream they are eating has all the delicious flavor, with half the fat and a third fewer calories.
As if that isn’t reason enough to flash a grin, for every ice cream smile captured in a photo and uploaded to Edy’s Facebook page, Slow Churned will donate $5 to Operation Smile.
By the end of the summer, the goal is to give away more than 25,000 scoops of ice cream, capture 25,000 ice cream smiles and gift 500 surgeries/smiles to children in-need.
Edy’s® Slow Churned Light Ice Cream is churned slowly for all the rich & creamy taste of regular ice cream, but with half the fat and one-third fewer calories. Now that’s a reason to smile. Give a smile with Operation Smile: http://www.facebook.com/EdysIceCream.
